IF you own a
Mitsubishi, you will know
how much it can cost if you lose your only key. They have a immobiliser system installed from when the car was manufactured
in Japan. Called a transponder chip. Mitsubishi from 1999
have these keys. |

Because of this it is
a must to have a spare Mitsubishi key available at all times either hidden
in the car or put in a safe place that you can access,
Mitsubishi keys usually have a chip in the head that gives the
car ECU the signal that it needs to
run. Some times if you lose your last key you can get a technician to
program another two keys into the ECU. This comes at a
price, approx $1500 for this particular make. The best advise is to have a spare Mitsubishi key duplicated by us or your
Mitsubishi service centre. We can duplicate a Mitsubishi key from your original for $173
plus gst cut and programmed. Takes approx 20 mins
